Sheriffmuir Farm is excited to announce our new program, Equine Empowerment. Intended for children and adults, Equine Empowerment (EE) is designed to meet the needs of the individual by providing mounted or unmounted therapeutic riding lessons for those with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, cognitive issues and/or social challenges.

Horses are nonjudgmental and offer humans an opportunity for partnership. Horses respond to our inner emotions, not what we portray. As prey animals, horses are in tune with their environment and the behaviors of those around them. This provides instant and unbiased feedback that offers students powerful insight into themselves, their emotions, and the impact of their actions.
